Any body that has opinions on L Acoustics SB28 subwoofer, maybe a better alternative? As we are looking to purchase some new gear very soon. Applications: outdoor events, concerts ect

do you use L'Acoustic top boxes? What amps do you use to power sub/bass? This could have a baring on how many bass cabs you would need for a given output.

we have 8 x l'acoustics SB218 and 16 x arcs.
all run on XTA processing and each amp rack consists of; 2 x Lab gruppen FP6400 (Bass/Mids) 1 x Lab Gruppen FP3400 (HF) we've never had a complaint yet from ANY touring engineer or venue. but i would advise buying second hand as they arn't worth buying new. |
