Beyma FD2XA Crossover for X15 Cab

Hey SP... as always you guys are the bomb... 

OK so here's the deal.... I'm changing out some crossovers in my first pair of modded X15 units, I wanna throw some more low frequency into the cabs...

I'm considering the Beyma FD2XA Crossovers - http://www.usspeaker.com/homepage.htm

I also had a serious look at the Eminence PX2 1k6 2 Way Crossover since
they have a built in L-Pad - http://www.usspeaker.com/homepage.htm

I think the L-Pad could help since I get that weird "bassy" noise from the comp driver at high volumes... Another idea might be I need change out the comp driver... the min freq on the comp is like 2000hz.... Celestion did say I could use lower freq "at my own risk"

I know it been a long debate as to the right passive xovers for the X15 cabs since the VX1-2 are not available anymore.....   I really hope you guys can help

	Would recommend considering things like Baffle Step Compensation to boost low frequency response below 300Hz at 6db per octave and Constant Directivity horn compensation to boost HF output above ~4khz. These things should really be tuned specifically for the drivers, box and horn combo in question. There's almost zero chance an off the shelf crossover will work with any old impedance but you may well get acceptable results if you're not too fussy.

	Yeah I am looking at making some custom circuit boards that can fit some HF compensation components, HF lamp protection, and L-pad protection as well. I have yet to see a kitset that allows users to adjust or even fit all this in. Shouldnt be an issue with the space inside the average cabinet
