Hello,

I might want to use the Beyma 15mi100 in HD15 , run from 75 to 170Hz.
Here are the specs :

Resonant Frequency (Fs) 48 Hz
Impedance (Re) 6.3 ohms
Coil Inductance (Le) 2.3 mH
Mechanical Q (Qms) 6.38
Electrical Factor(Qes) .3
Total Q (Qts) .28
Comp. Equivelant Vol. (Vas) 5.86 ft3 / 166 Liters
Voice Coil Overhang (Xmax) 2.0 mm
Surface Area of Cone (Sd)m2 0.0880m2
Reference Efficiency 6.0%
Displacement Volume (Vd) 175 cm3

Would it be OK ??

Thanks,
Arnaud.

That's a typical mid speaker. It will work with high efficiency from about 100Hz and up, but can't take much power even above 100Hz. If you want to stay with Beyma speakers, look at the 15P80Nd, that one does work great in bandpass horns like HD15.
Might also wanna take a look in the topic "HD15 driver sims"
