killomax is doubtfull i think it only works in certain reflex cabs [dont quote me]

Cannonsound have a 6th order cab design using the e18400 and is apparently quite good(looks simple). I played with that driver in a box slightly smaller than the x1 and it was decent(albeit around 4db less output than my p180/2241's). Prolly work ok but needs to be drawn up in bassbox or something just to be sure

Both will get f**ked in the X1. Especially the Kilomax, bet it does it spectacularly and blasts the paper cone in many many pieces through the X1 ports like confetti. P. Audio E18600A, the xmax is 5mm, too low it will break in the X1. Eminence Kilomax, the BL is way too low and the QTS is too high, the cone will flap about and tear itself up. Use the Void V18-1000 instead its almost the same price[£200] as the Kilomax.And least it works well in the X1 compaired to the other two.

bp6 cabs are rather fussy on drivers apparently! especialy the x1. try the sd18. the void v18-1000 [allegedly fattaly good in a sick sub bass kinda way] or a differnt cab! |
