Not sure I'd eBay it but there are plenty of specialist sites out there were you could find it a new home easily.
Thanks anyway.
Steve

You could always buy it and leave it outside for a couple of weeks and then, hey presto, instant restoration project!
Sorry, couldn't resist it!!!

Does anyone remember the old WEM 4 channel power amps? They came in a slip on flightcase and stood upright rather than being rack mountable. About 150w per channel.
it's all just cardboard and magnets really

Yes Chris---We had loads of them off Slade when they changed over to Crown DC300A amps.
Wem Powerblocks they were known as and they used to go bang on a regular basis due to poor cooling and no fans.
In the end, I think we were getting more money for the flightcases than the amps and no-one ever complained of a flightcase going bang.
Midas also had a similar kind of four channel powerblock at around the same time----early seventies---Cheers--John.

Yes, they were the ones. Couldn't remember the name though. Presumably they were designed to power the early WEM festival systems. Glad we don't have to lug those about today! If by chance anyones got a picture....
