I was wondering a lot about the WIN ISD behaviour related to the raising max spl
when you double numbers of drivers and box volume....

normally youve got 3dB more spl if you take 2 instead of 1 loudspeaker and power
them EACH with the same power as in single.

win isd shows 6dB more MAX spl, and i dont understand this.

maybe sb can explain or help?

thx

3 dB due to doubling of power and 3 dB due to the drivers coupling, based upon the assumption that they are within 1/4 wavelength of each other (that's within 86 cm distance of each other at/below 100 Hz).  The 6 dB is a bit theoretical and is likely closer to 5 dB.
