Could someone let me know which design would work best with the Fane 18 SB? Got a few of these drivers hanging around and fancy a mini scoop.

Bit confused generally which plan works best with which type of driver.....?

I see
they seem to be coming out thick and fast

please tell me 6.8mm xmax is a typo error?

EDIT:  just looked at the specs (thanks builder) 1000 watt AES and a xmax of 8.25mm

I would ask around first and see if anyone has attempted to put one of these in a scoop, if you're going to be using that kinda power, the rear chamber will have to be pretty small, otherwise you will run into trouble with as little as 500 watts

so no point in having a hungry 1000 watt driver

PD are at it too - RMS, AES who knows!

So with regards to eticate your best off putting monsters in bigger chamber scoops and weaker drivers in smaller chamber - so what happens when you put a monster driver in a small chamber?

Looks like the inevitable journey into scoops has begun...
