I want to build 2-4 of Staiper's ES-15BPH microscooper and use them up to 150-200hz. Then either 12 inch straight horn or dual 10 inch in sealed box to 800hz, and then dual 8 inch drivers to 5-6khz and then 4x dynamic bullets from there. I was thinking Eminence Kappa 15LF in the scoops as Staiper should they could be used in them bins in a previous post. And upgrade to the Fane 15XB's when I get more money if they work in those bins. Want to use Fane Classic CLA12-300 or CLA12-200 or Eminence Delta 12 or P.audio SN12MB in the 12 inch straight horns. Would any of these work in the straight horn? Or if I make the dual 10 inch sealed mids I want to use Fane Classic CLA10-100 or Celestion K10-T200 [can get both of these dirt cheap. Eminence Beta 8 in the dual 8 upper mids, or Fane Cresendo 8M. Bullets I want to use Eminence APT80 or Fane HF250 or Celestion HF50.
The amps I wanna get to drive them with are: Audiohead AH2400 for the scoops, Audiohead AH1800 for the low mids, Audiohead AH500 for the upper mids and highs. I don't know whether its better to get a reggae 4 way pre-amp or get a 3 way reggae pre-amp and use a passive HPF on the bullets? If I do use a passive HPF it will be the Beyma F100 6.3khz filter as I can get those dirt cheap too. I won't be able to afford 4 amps unless I get a Audiohead AH500 for upper mids and Audiohead AH400 for highs, so gonna run it mono as most reggae soundsystems run it mono anyway.
