What type and where should I place insulation on my X-1 subs.  From readers project photos, I see what they have done but what about the sides?

Polyester wadding, even if you was on a low budget you could buy some cheap duvet/pillows and cut them open as they use polyester wadding in them and use that if it was thick enough, as I found out. And glue and staple it in place with an electric staple gun.

I advice not using fibreglass wadding, as it will break apart easily and also make you cough and irritates your skin if you don't wear a mask and gloves when you apply it.
