Hey Chaps

just looking at the Faital website - how would the 12" 12hp1020 driver work in a tapped horn style box

slightly better Xmax than the PD12sb30 and maxW

It looks like both drivers are displacement limited, so the higher power rating is not a big deal.

The difference in displacement works out to a 1.38dB SPL difference (in favor of the Faital Pro).

I have compared the MTH with the Martinsson. Although not with the suggested B&C 15TBX100 but with a PD1550. There's not much in it (as the sims suggest) and i couldnt really tell much difference. To get the most from the THAM15 you need the B&C or the BMS equivalent. Funnily enough, the 12sb30 goes pretty low in the THAM according to sims (on par with the b&c), although displacement seems to be high.  I guess thats the trade off?
