new bass is needed. It should run up to about 700Hz.

Alt.1

2x12" precision devices PDN.12SB40/PDN.12MH25 or 12"-Neodym.   from RCF

Alt.2

2x15" precision devices PDN.15BR40/PDN.15SB40 or RCF LF15N401

Does someone have experience with these drivers? What enclosures could be used? Thanks for some ideas!

Hi Dave,

thanks for your reply.

background for my new bass is: I have a very good wooden mid-horn, that goes down to about 700Hz. Therefore the bass-unit has to run up to that point.

I think, a pure short-horn-enclosure cant be driven so high. The bass is for home-cinema-purpose. perhaps a mixture of bassreflex with good connection to air and horn or some type of bandpass-design should be better. My problem is, no enclosure-proposual fo find at all of the producers, nor in forums
