......... Celestion TN0820 ..... but in 4 ohm ?
Using 2 x 8 ohm would be _very_ cool - and would _really_ kick I suspect, but enclosure volume would be too big. Need a 4 ohm like this for a Tripath 2020 ..... |

It's pretty unusable for outdoors use I'm afraid. Too low Qts makes it trail of too fast with optimum tuning. Outdoors F3 @ around 130Hz with Q=1.2 tuning. The cab would be pretty small though at only around 2 liters. You'd be much better off with something like a deltalite 2510. Deeper bass s4PiF3@92Hz w/Q=1.2 (Vb=19/Fb=72), only 300g heavier, same output at half the power (3dB higher sensitivity), and 25% cheaper. (Note: s4PiF3 is similar to a normal F3 point for a semi-4Pi (outdoors) enviroment where the speaker will be relatively close to ground plane, ie. basically placed on the ground. To calculate this you take a normal optimum BR tuning for medium sized rooms (Q=0.7) and divide Vb with Pi and multiply Fb with SQRT(2) so you get a Q=1.2 tuning, the F0 point is then equal to the s4PiF3).
