USB or double ES18s - almost same size and "equal" performance to F1 218s...

Would 4x ES18 follow 1x reflex loaded PD2450? Got some plans from Opus Jody, and planning to use the plan. Smile

please calculate the sensitivity and max SPL yourself but 4 es18s per 24" BR Sub means overkill to me...
i use similar cabs 1:1 with 6th order bandpass infras ala X1... and still "too" much kick ;)

pd2450 is not really up to date anymore imo, try some modern 21" neos BMS for example if you need serious sub content.

dude, i know how it is to change your mind every day what system to build,  you are super sure, then some days later you discovered sth new in forum and you throw all your plans away again...

with g-subs you dont make a bad choice, they sound the most "neutral",

you can go low even with a single, can put delays to do a cardioid array easily if you have bigger jobs ectect.
and a lot companies and in a lot clubs you can see usual 18" reflex speakers.

think about to build single 18" reflex, they are more easy to handle,
you could chance the dimension to 58x58 on the front x something deep (to get the same volume)
and put above 2 or 3 half g-subs    a half usb, so they would even have the same front dimensions for better optic, maybe even be also the same deep.

es18 is better if you use it on its own (slightly more low end than usb with the right driver)
usb (and also es18) have more volume in kick, i mean sound more "fat" kicking than hd15,
hd15 sounds some kind of faster (different) in the very upper bass regio about 150hz.

i would go for the usb if its needed, but for most music, dubstep pop and overall, you wont need them.

best regards
