Many scoop designs loaded with PD.1850 driver work superbly in 30-80hz range. Using 1850 horn bin as a midbass on top of scoop bin is not ideal because 1850 horn is too big for midbass duty and doesn't sound that good in midbass alone, or at least there are better sounding options, and smaller.
Usable fq range for 1850 horn with right driver is around 40-140hz I hate it when people talk about 1850 horn and PD.1850 using same name... Edited by pfly - 20 July 2011 at 9:57am |

Hey man, get serious:-)
they're good for both uses, but you wouldn't really want to use them together at the same time. By the way, that's what I'm testing now. LOWCUT INFORMATION?: 1: 2: 3: 4: 6: 8: all empty? got to search sims then, or do more tests for first few. |
