This is not for me but my girlfriend. She wants something with the following sort of spec's:
2.2Ghz i3 or i5 processor 4Gb> Ram 200GB> HDD Somewhere up to £400-£450ish. I have obviously looked for her for a while and have found a few but I'm a mac user myself and don't actually know that much about PC's so any help would be appreciated. Also anyone know of a good place or person with refurbished laptops? |

Lenovo.
Laptops Direct or Saveon Laptops
Tick the three year warranty box.
Laptops Direct have an unethical habit of calling after you purchase trying to sell you AV and bags.
Tell 'em NO.

Dell Vostro are not bad .... Latitude good also but can get expensive.
Avoid Inspiron. www.europc.co.uk are not bad to deal with. They have official refurb .... uusually just cancelled order etc. but carry full Dell warranty - and some Vostro and Latitude carry 3yr as standard. As above Lenovo should be good also .... AVOID Sony !!! |
