12v led lighting

if you need some lights for your 12v...
managed to pick up that cyclope one on ebay, spares or repairs for £20
native power supply inside was giving 30 volts instead of 12 and fried 5v stabiliser and capacitors.

changed the stabiliser, capacitors, installed dc power socket and have a nice light running 12v dc. takes max 1.5A with all leds on. 

same thing was happening with my acme led scanners. power supply getting dead, 
external 12v supply sorted the problem :-)
