Is this not normal operation for most amplifiers? all the ones i have used have done this not as much on the power off although i do have an sr707 which is the only one that does it on switch off... :)

Hi,
Yeah I knew about the switch on, guessed that was the soft start, I was mainly asking about when I switched it off, because the LEDs lingered on and the protect mode went on I thought "oh sh*t I've just blew £300 away" haha didn't realise they lock themselves into protect then slowly power down. Good idea if I'm honest, would stop pops and stuff taking out my Fane Colosuss's all the time. But yeah very pleased with these amps, they perform better than the tunes going through them! And the guy selling the "kit", are you the seller who has listed a fire damaged SR707 and a SR606?? Thanks everybody. |

did you pay £300 per amp? that seems very expensive. we let one go for £150 just a year or 2 ago, basing that on the prices floating around here..
