Crown Macrotech doesn't offer decals. You will need to buy a new faceplate as the wording is painted on the faceplate.

Well, you can go by what the Crown repair specialist say, or a person who actually own Crown Macrotechs that literally checked the faceplate on the amplifiers which does not offer decals.

The choice is yours.

Best Regards,

Maybe the US versions have painted faceplate.

Have seen many variations on macrotech amplifiers. Mine have proper thick mains cable & proper cable grommet, many have piddly mains cable, and baby grommet.Dead

Could it be that there are more questionable Crown Macrotechs in the UK than the US? The only Crowns that offer decals that share the same chassis as the Macrotechs in the US are the PowerBase/CSL/Powertech. Those offer vinyl decals. I don’t remember ever seeing Amcrons offering decal logos in the Macrotech Series when Crown used to export them to England.

Bear in mind all my Macrotechs were purchased new and registered to Crown when the Macrotechs were in production.

Best Regards,

Crown call these decals the 'Overlay'.

MA5000VZ with 'amcron' logo is part no. F12164J3

"      "      'crown'    "    "    "    F12164J6

MA2400 with 'crown' "    "    "    "    F11322-9

etc etc

If they're priced like the Crest ones, unless you're really fussy about having asthetically pleasing amp racks then it's really not worth it.

I inow it's a bit late but I stumbled across the US prices while looking for something else in the parts list! Prices show the revised part numbers as of 2015.
