I am really trying to get my head around how to work out what amp to use with what driver. I've heard 2 x RMS and that when people have done this they have blown drivers.

I really don't know what to do.

The query i have is would a bridged Crown XLS602 (1200w) power a V18 1000 effectively?

Sorry for the lack of IQ but i am a bit confused.

Thanks

We run a bridged RMX2450 into a pair, 1200W each, no problems yet....

right so you are meaning that you've wired them up in parallel and are creating 8 ohms and two lots of 1250w.

good idea but for the same price you could buy 2 XLS 602's and they won't be put under as much strain as that,if that is what you have done.

Was more relating to the amount of power than anything, anyway your plan seems fine.
