May someone help i have bought the 4 beyma 15"MI 100 mid low spkrs with 2" beyma CP 800 Ti together TD 400 horn.May someone help and suggest for me the best trapezoid mid/high enclosure design for two 15" inch with 2" inch driver on the centre mounted on the TD 400 horn. I would like to use for touring and would like to get more vocals for live performance.
I more satisfied with the bass am getting out of the four SB18 cabs loaded with 18p1200Nd driven by 4 synq PE 2400 at Bridge mode.

A bit of a "special" speaker this 15MI100. Efficient (light cone), but not much life under 100Hz.
Two speakers in a ~100 liter cabinet, BR tuned at about 80Hz and a 24dB/oct highpass at 100Hz would be my starting point. A 400-500 watt amp @ 4 Ohm, nicely limited at half of that, is about as much as they can take, to keep Xmax within spec. Edited by Peter Jan - 16 October 2012 at 10:20pm |

i never did understand the 15mi100. swear by the 10mi100/250 in many cases and als the 12, but i have never seen a practical use for the 15mi100. it seems to be a 15inch mid driver with practicaly non of the qualities of a mid driver and even less of thoes found in a 15. |
