hi
i'm building some 2 x 10" + comp driver midtops and some 12"+1" monitors, and i'd like to know if i can run in biamp mode with a lms with limiters and get away with it without the need for passive crossovers or some protection for the compression drivers. the box will be used just by me so there is no chance of overdriving the top end (B&C de160)... components are b&c amx 250, 12plb76 and de160, amplifier is ffa4004 (600w/8ohm, 4channel amp) thanks Edited by king david - 13 December 2012 at 3:50pm |

Consider using series capacitor for the de160 driver, for the sake of DC protection or accidental low signal to the driver...
Others say its not needed, I'll do it anyway for peace of mind. Andy |
