Hi!
I have two old Zomax P1565 and woundering if these are usable in the HD15 horn ? TS parameters Fs = 34,6 Hz Qt = 0,41 Qm = 9,87 Qe = 0,43 Vas = 340 ltrs. Re = 6,5 ohms SPL = 99 db Or should i just thow them away and get a pair of Kappa 15 ? |

build the hd15 if you dont already have it and test the driver. the one pd154 loaded one i have sounds good |

ok, then ill go fort the kappa pros lf, maybe the zomax can be used in something like the x15.

Probably be OK in a suitable reflex box, not the HD which needs a specialist driver to work properly. Tony |

If you have some HDs built then give it a try and see how it sounds, if you haven't got any HDs and want to use to Zomax for something then id agree with Tony, a reflex is probably more likely to sound ok and would be a safer bet. It may sound good in a HD though, its hard to say without trying it, TS parameters and simulations dont tell the whole story.
