Do you still have any RMJ coned PD1850 chassis? Would be good to get one and a real cone on a bench to publish T/S parameters for both side by side.

On the other hand you could just listen to them..

Which is the preferred method of comparison, for many of us.

Obviously comparing T/S parms, and beard stroking maybe for others. LOL

Hi All,

First post and already I am asking for stuff.

I have a couple of precision devices pd1550's which need reconing. Any suggestions? The chassis look pretty old to me.

Thanks in advance,

Jamie

Jumping in with a version question:

Will the normal available "mk1" kit fit the "Old rubber back mk1"

Surely I'm confusing things, but apart from magnet round / edge I've seen 3 versions of 1850:
Rubber back: old version, all rear edge of magnet covered in rubber, small centerdome.
"normal": big centerdome & magnet, rough frame.
china: New version, neat looking frame with rounded corners in front.
