As i said in another thread i'm planning to build a pair of 12+1"mid-tops and i just had a thought... how well would an X15 work if scaled down correctly (by 1.25 i think) for a 12" driver?

On the other hand if it doesn't work how much would i need to shorten an X12 by to get the right volume for just the single 12" driver?

thanks in advance, Alex

Halving the volume doesn't take into account the volume of the compression driver and horn.
Tendril

A mistake is a mistake only if one learns nothing from it.

12 inch 2 way B&C design on their website will do well. Instead of arsing around trying to half an X15.

LOL thats a sealed unit.
Compression driver and horn flare into cab doesn't take up much space either.
