ive decided to use mt121 for my mids in a 4 way system. ive decided to cross the speaker and compression driver at 1.6khz (too high?)
im going to use an online crossover calculator to find out what components i need. what is the best one to use out of these or does it not matter?  |

Its a bit of a black art the whole passive crossover thing.
The higher order slope the more component you, need what makes a bigger, heaver more expensive unit. At a guess 2nd or 3rd order would work but the type of slope is a whole other kettle of fish

Or just use an LMS, and do it the "proper" way.
 Different drivers in MT121 prefer different xover freqs. |
