I modeled a HD215 with 3 piece "curve"

I was wondering how to keep the measurements the best. So I tried to stick to the 420mm Baffle for the driver.
the 120mm and the 200mm are still good,
but I loose the 38mm in the front of the curve.

The volume increases from 53.6 to 54.6 l - what do you guys think?
Still ok?

(Volume is the inside, no ply included)

Won't make any difference at all, change in volume is so small.

Thank you!

I shortened the center baffle to 374mm, any opinions on this?

Or is it better to bring it to the same level as the folds?

I did 10 singles with 5 piece curves about 10 years ago now, they had virtually the same response as the standard hd15 i.e no audible difference, cant see a 3 piece curve being much different.

Hey,
I do have angles and measurements, but they're all for a setup with 22mm plywood. (Got it for free)

I already build one hd 215 an I'm now working on two more.
I was wandering long the middle plate has to be to not influence the sound too much.I would like to ad a personal design to the cab bbut I don't want to mess up the sound.
If I have the shortest part 300mm (30cm) messured from the back plate, would that be enough or is there more material to be left?

(I can post the angles and also pics of the finished project as soon as I figured out how )

Or pn me your email, and I'll send it to you.

Cheers

the more you chop up/decrease the bracing the more the cab will resonate.. ;) specially the mouth brace is there for good reason..
