Hi all I read on here somewhere somebody said four hd15 per pair of x1's I have built megatons I haven't fired it all up yet but will I need another pair of megatons to give a balanced sound?

think it depends on your music. what will you be using the rig for. (also, i don't know megatons).
i've used a pair of X1s with a pair of double 15" bins with pretty good results for a long time too. |

Mixture the megaton is basically half a turbo sound bph238 and when I say mixture predominantly live bands

i have found this kind of bin (bandpass horn) crap for live bands. how high do you need to run them?

I'm hoping to run them from 80/85hz upto around 250hz then over to a pair of EV mth1 to take care of the rest
