might look at ported horns like the CF1840JD, im poor as fuq so i want horn efficiency with  as much low extension as possible.
I did see that startec horn but if i remember correctly on the third design iteration he removed a load of horn length?

djks double 15 push pull slot loaded might be an option for you.. sell the PDs for good money, get some cheap eminence 15lfa, 2 cabs are quick and simply built, wont require massive amping etc. - just a thought..

many other options obviously aswell, just doubt the turbo/pd drivers would be all that suitable for your "task" :)

(btw. plenty cabs going cheap second hand, specially now, after summer festi season - chose one you like..)

what about tapped horns? I can get to 35hz, one box with the v1000 which is a cheap driver. My box is also smaller then most 18 mini scoops.

nicky, the link is actually within my post.. just google my exact phrase :) djk push pull slot...

THs might not be everyones thing, same as BRs and Scoops.. all depends on genre and taste imo.
all 3 might cover the same spectrum nominally/on paper but yet all 3 will sound different..

feliz, best you get out more and have a listen to as many cabs as possible to make up your own mind re what you prefer etc. :)
btw. hornresp is only telling you one side of the story, without according real world experience/comparison it wont help much deciding on "ideal" cabs for your applications imo.
