Hey ho,
does anyone know how this technology used by powersoft actually works?
I think it's not that simple or just a marketing trick..
Kind regards

Two channels (stereo) AD are used to convert a single input channel thereby little bit extending dynamic range, maybe +2-3dB or so. It is not invented by Powersoft, has been already used in signal acquisition since half century

Another thing is that Powersoft's slow amplifier stages and badly rounding algorithms (cutting out important informative small parts of the signal) of the signal processing is larger limitation in accuracy than the AD :-D

Okay, but I think its not only the 3dB extension of the SNR by mono input configuration since they also claim their D/A converters to have tandem architecture (the larger new amps for example), what I think is it has sth to do with
(for the AD converter )extend the dynamic range by adapting the input amplification according to the input signal (what should happen very fast) so the A/D has a netter resolution with smaller signals and, with the right op amp and circuit, less noise, but Im not sure about it.thanks anyway!
