How much space should i allow from the front of the baffle to front of the box for a full face grille?

suppose it depends on if you want to foam them or just have grills
grills are say max 1.5mm think usually so add a batton 10/15mm so you'd need 20mm id say

I always put baffle 35mm back and use 30mm battens .
Fane suggest 38mm here http://www.fane-international.com/downloads/Cabinets18inch200Lres.pdf |

You need to allow the depth of the chassis (Fanes are 12mm ish) plus the xmax of the driver (again around 12mm for Fanes) Then the thickness of the grill, plus a small margin, so 30mm is about right.
Also if you are fitting foam on the inside of the grill you need to allow for the thickness of that. (I usually fit 7mm foam inside the grill), so that will bring you to 37mm. |

If it's got wheels or tits it's gonna cost a fortune
