This is exactly my conclusion after carefully studying the crowd in the outside demo area for the last 3 years. 98% of them are the one that came to the show to just spend some time with their friends and have fun. Not to buy anything.
Real customers come to your booth and demand a much more controlled demo.
So we  gave up on the idea to go for a spot in the outside demo area when we get a booth there.
Aside the fact that for a small manufacturer as we are, it is  quite an expense.
