So I need to purchase four replacement lamps for some Studio due mini-city 150 which specifies a Phillips LAMP CDM-SA/T 150W/942

a quick goggle reveals a plethora of providers and a wide range of prices

From £12.48p for what look like a pattern

http://www.prolightingaccessories.co.uk/product/cdm sat 150w942 cmh-t 150w replacement lamp

Up to £40.00 plus for branded Phillips

https://www.lampshoponline.com/philips-cdm-sa-t-150w-942-g12-cap.html?gclid=CKHotOqdp9QCFRMz0wod1DoDew

Can anyone please advise as the price difference is appreciable

TBH Ford, having used aftermarket lamps in Martin kit I can say you will get no better value than Phillips, £160 for a proper job vs £50 for lamps that may not hold any colour temp worth using after 50 hours....

I have seen a Mac 500 output near to brown light on a brand new (AC Lighting sourced) cheap lamp.

Phillips, or Osram.
