Hi Kevin,
No it's got conventional components 2sc/2sa output stage. The one with surface mount is the T3000. I replaced some of the 2sa1943/2sc5200 and then tested it with 47ohm resistors in place of the 15amp fuses the resistor on the positive starts smoking
