Specs on the 2385a horn says it loads down to 500hz so it should be safe crossing the 2446 to 1khz.

In general a horn sounds best crossed over an octave above its cut-off point.
The 2360 series load down to 300hz, but unless you are using an annular half-roll JBL (2482, 2440, etc), they don't sound their best. The titanium 4" diaphragms (2445,/46/47/50/51 etc) sound poor with only 200mW of pink noise through them unless you bump the crossover up to 650hz~700hz or so. |

Update. Tried crossing them 900hz and the result was night and day to the previous point. Was crossing them 2khz before. Vocals are more present and crisp now. Thank you for the help. |
