What would you say is the max usable lenths of 2/4/6mm core speakons before it becomes an issue for either sub or tops.
Like if you had to cover 60m would you rather use a local amp, or distribute amps and use XLR?

Really? That link shows that on 4mm cable, at 30m, you've lost 3% of the power output. How about this, some actual maths – an SH96 (not exactly a power shy box) on a 50m line, off an X4: Can you hear a quarter of a decibel drop? Edited by toastyghost - 17 August 2017 at 7:26pm |
