I've recently got 4 X1 design subs, scaled down to a 15" size. I can't find any plans for these anywhere but I've been told the previous drivers being used in these were PD.1550's.
Assuming these are appropriate drivers for these bins, could anyone tell me if PD156's would sound any good in there? Or P Audio P150/2226's? If anyone could recommend a driver that would work better than any of these id like to hear about that too. Thanks

Scaled down? On the grounds that these boxes are unique I don't think anyone could speculate as to what a driver would sound like in them. Just aim for a driver with similar specs to the bigger 18" version and make sure the paper cone is nice and think and strong enough as the original.box was known to tear drivers apart that wasn't up to scratch!
