Whats with all the hype with these cabs? Is it just a 'double mini'? Anyone heard any of em?

It does look just like a double Minnie scoop design, so maybe save one or two inches in width, but makes a heavy single cab. Not really sure that it has much real world benefits over two single Minnie's, apart from those two inches when packing a van?
Stone Lion Sound System, The Garden City Rockers. It's all about the music & the vibe.

at only 60cm depth i would guess its simply a flared port reflex or high tuned quarter wave hybrid  rather than a "scoop".. similar to rcf esw1018, wembley b line etc

large "ports" + rel. high tuning + suitable drivers and amping - job done for dancehall/soca/reggeaton but also techno and general modern edm etc.?! (its not about real sub content imo, only about shifting as much as possible air at 45-60ish hz.. - rel. high tuned double 21"s like the kv2 2.21 or kirsch audio pbk 121/221 are great at doing exactly that..)
