Hi there, sorry for jumping on an ‘oldish’ post. There are a pair of these going that I can get for cheap. I’ve been thinking about diversifying into village fetes, small festivals etc.
I have a range of active stuff (mainly pioneer dj Xprs range atm) but used to love the old Mackie stuff (eaw/Rcf)
Would you say it’s worth getting these speakers? (Lookin at 300 a piece) would they still cope with dance music etc at (not crazy levels)
You mentioned delaying to get the mid or upper bass to sit right. How did you achieve that? Any pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. The main thing I guess is are the spl/distance roll offs true? I.e that they cover allot more audience without rolling off . Thanks in advance

Given that there are a dozen or so different design speaker  enclosures can you be more specific which ones can you get for £300.. ?

Yes… sorry I thought I had replied to the op about the setup at Glastonbury, yes the LDS 800
But I can See again from the photos that the f1’s are used as monitors and the 800’s as mid tops for the crowd
