Yeah I think In the early pictures the wheel boards are on then when the crowd is there they are working alongside (or over) the lds800’s

there is another lds thread with some links to the mfg pdf's

£300 a box is fair play given the components, since glasto I have not had a lot of time to play with them all I can say is they are fking heavy and tricky to rig safely as they are designed to be flown.  One of these days I might weld up a decent frame to act as a footprint

As for time aligning them with subs a pair of reflex would be the simplest to match, folded horns I used the same delay as the hi mid driver in the r4 over f121 and then tried to get the voice coils on the same plane.

Would I do it again over having delays halfway up the hill, not sure watch this space next June..v:)

Yes I have been umming and ahring regards the weight. As 70kg for something not on casters of Fukien heavy (especially as I mostly work alone, it will mean I’ll have to price in a roadie.
Good point re fabricating a ‘foot plate’
But for testing purposes I assume they will stand up straight?
Just won’t be within any wobble factor! Ah it’s a tricky one..
I just know if I miss these, to get any kind of column array that acts as a proper column array would probably be an LD system’s product that would cost a couple of £k a side.
Also I’m concerned about availability and cost Of spare parts.
I might just end up using them on some kind of instal or hifi speakers as at their original selling point they should have some prettty damn good components in them
