Im into buying some new homebuilt midtop and subs loaded with nice older RCF drivers.

The thing is the drivers are glued to the cabs....

I can probably buy these cheap but is it even worth it since my thought is to rebuild these a bit.

Anyone have experience with removing glued drivers?

How much of a rebuild is that? If you cut the baffle out of the boxes then it will be much easier to cut/whittle away the remaining wood around the driver frame.

Maybe the rebuild is no more than changing some woofer and put in some handles ...

I think maybe I kan cut through the glue with a dremel or a fein multimachine but its easy to maybe cut all the way into the cone ..?

Anyone experienced glued woofers before?

If to change the whole front baffle is there any standard way to do it?
