Mate wants a simple 15" Kick cab to build, that will suit his MT121s.
Can any of you guy's do the HR sim for HD15, with width increased to 580mm? Yep, I know chambers, horn mouth all increase, just need to see how a few drivers sim in it. Know about all the options, this is just an idea. |

Why not add 2mm to the height and then turn it on it's side? Just a thought -> can't 'HornResp' on my Mac.

Yes could do that, but never really been impressed by 50-70hz performance of standard HD15, so was hoping slightly larger chamber, with tufty driver might help. |

Why not add some negative expansion and then claim neos won't work in it?
Jokes aside, I thought you were on it with the sims Ray. Shirley, it'll work. |

I simmed Fane Sov Pro 600lf in HD15 with throats/chambers increased by 20%. Comparison revealed slight increase in SPL from 60-120hz. Needed to hear what the "experts" think. |

PD1550 Without the mod 4 boxes 4pi 1w@1m
PD1550 With the mod. 4 boxes 4pi 1w@1m Hasn't helped much gaining 1dB @ 60Hz . Also Dj Eddie you can use horn resp, get Parallels Desktop, simply opens a new window and launches the os inside it. |

What is the TDA website? I have seemingly never stumbled that deep into the rabbit hole.
Scratch that I have seen it. Edited by Wrek0ne - 25 April 2012 at 3:51pm |

I went down the route of tri-booting via Bootcamp (OSX, XP and Ubuntustudio) so it means logging out, restarting, HornResp'ing, logging out and restarting again! I should have done Parallels from the start. Oops. |
