That t18 looks like a huge driver mounted on a very short horn-the horn might load about 50-60hz.
To add pics in the reply, they have to be hosted somewhere on the net . then try and see if it works.
Cheers! |

As shown by the PDF file its 100db/1watt at 100hz and much lower at 50hz.Its not a horn as such. Bite the horn bullet and build a real huge effective horn!

Its more of a Half Horn enclouser, effictive tho, once i have loaded it with PD1850's!!! that will giv it more pressure,at the same time making it lighter to carry than a Full horn loadedcab. Four or six of them should be enuff 4 indoor venues, i have a Crown 5000vz amp sp that should power them oky. Just need to build the things!! Guys any sugestions on Bracing the internals, so that it will not fall apart wen loaded with PD's ??? What you think !! |

But don't brace half way along a pannel. If you do you will end up with two panels that will both be radiating at the same frequency, but juts higher up. Put braces of centre to avoid making smaller but evenly sized panels. |

The original drivers have a 2,5" VC, so it's no wonder that this speakers easily fry with 800W amping (clean, limited signal of course)....

Staiper-Good idea to make an msn group Perhaps if enough people were online at once we could discuss things in a chatroom-if we had enough

I dont know if its just me, but i cant draw the picture over on deltacad... The 45deg pannel at the top rear is always in the way of the 420mm brace. The angled pannels doesnt line up either if ya go with the pans... Anyone got a better plan / drawing?
Thanks Hugo |
