Hi everyone, nice to meet you. i'm new to the forum and maybe you can help me. So i want to build a cabinet for 2 18's, the model probably will be B&C 18SW115, but we have a big problem. The cabinet go into my car, a tiny fiat punto mk2, and i want to play music with my trunk open because i have 4 10's with driver in the doors. The real problem is the dimension. The max widht can be 96cm, long 80 and tall 60. I searched a long for a dual subscoop like the EV MTL1 but they are larger :(
I want to play EDM genre, so a good chest pound and a little bit of deep bass is needed. Can someone of you help me? At the end if nobody have a solution i build 2 B30 box for dual 15's and put them one on top , but i wanted more dual 18. Thank you in advance and have a nice day.

You probably don't need 18s to make a decent level of bass. To drive a pair of those 18s  you mention properly would need a large amount of power, and that's just not really practical in such a small vehicle. Maybe an old skool triple 12" would be a better fit? It won't be difficult to get a significant output down to 40hz or so.

You can't imagine how much output i have in my doors. only 1 door measured at 3 meter 127db. 4x faital pro 10pr310 and driver hf108. At the moment i have 2 15 model Pride SV3 15, but i don't like them. they go loud only with the trunk closed and they are destroyng my car. I need to play with woofers facing the people behind the car with trunk open, in a horn loaded cabinet. So i can long throw the bass on the people. now at 5 meters away you don't "feel" the bass as i want. Someone have a plan for 2x15 subscoop? or maybe 2x15 B30 cabinet? Or any other like them? I understand 2x18 is a bit too big, maximum width 96cm :(

You can’t physically have any type of bass in the boot of your punto that is going to keep up with your top end and not rattle it to pieces LOL my recommendation would be to get a few small efficient bass cabs you can get in your car and take them out on the floor just in front of the boot each time you use them if you’re wanting to have good sound for people outside the car. Wouldn’t go for hungry 2000 odd watt drivers like those either, multiple small cabs that sacrifice the lower end in order to be smaller

You want a few 12 or 15 inch drivers in a b6 assisted alignment would be my guess. Google this forum for info. Gives you a small cab with punch and a bit more extention than youd expect for the cab size.

Tony wilkes (rip) q12 and q15 plans may yield results as a starting point if you can get them from bee on the forum here.
