Interesting use of XLR's on the outputs, presumably to go with the arse about face way Bose use them.

Some went for £99 the orther day nice wished had the money i would off snapped them up

I bought 2 x V800's and a V500 for 30 quid a couple of years back all working  too just needed some pots cleaned.

  I had my eye on a v800 a few weeks back, it wasn't in fantastic condition but I would have gone up to a ton or so on it, anyway, in the last few minutes it shot up to over 300 quid!Shocked

The V800's are sought after by guitarists 1 x 15 on one channel 2 or 4 x 10 on the other. 
(or a pair of 4 x 12's)

id pay 100 allday long for V800s man, love mine just wkd amps and sound aewsome...

played mine on various loads and drivers 18s 15s bass clarity mid 12s ect, and still amaze me all the time the power output of them..for there rated power/spec....nice!

so what you boys rekon that 100£ for the V500 is way over the top?

NJW, yes ive noticed that too on some 500s but expecialy the V800 the prices are started to rise again...

Some may say it's a lot of cash for a 500watt amp but if it floats yer boat.... I've paid more for S500D's the thing that's great about the older amp's is if treated right they go on for ever and you'll never need a gym membership as long as you have a rack of them.
