hey all
Came across this on another forum, has the ability to generate some pretty cool lighting effects. Basically its a very fine grey mesh that you can put on stage. Its transparent enough to be largely invisible normally, but you can projection map and fire lasers at it, making their image look like it's floating in the air in front of or around the performers. <iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/205344124" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

My pal EMN/EMan/Emanuel Biard has been doing projections using multiple layers of this stuff for over 10 years!

Well known effect, back in Victorian times using gas lights!
My first sight of it was a 1995 production of Sunset Boulevard in some West End Theatre. Very effective
