Greetings!

got 4 Staiper SMT212 mid tops with B&C me90 for the top end, I use them two per side and the me90 dispersion is 80x60 degrees, so I'm thinking about getting a more tight dispersion horn to focus the sound better, avoid filter and so on...

any suggestions? I'm looking at the Eighteen Sound XR1464C, that comes at about 65 euros and have a 60x40 degrees dispersion, but if theres something better I'd go for it

Cheers

Does the 18sound xt1464 fit the cab?
Arrays well, cheap and bigger so works with low crossover.

it would have been my choice but it doesn't fit. the XR has the same cutout as the ME90

Why not just rotate your existing B+C horns a quarter turn so your horizontal coverage will be 60 degrees---OK your vertical coverage will change to 80 degrees but this will probably not bother you.

I did it from the beginning, forgot to write it, just thought a 60x40 may focus more where it is intended to go, wrong?
