Hello all, just a quick one... What are the heights of each section of your stacks (i.e. 2 subs stacked then kicks then tops) and then total height top to bottom. Just curious to see what heights people use and what is ideal for each frequency section. (maybe include pics with dimensions scribbled on?)

i just try to get upper mids and highs above head height really. a stack of 2.5M high / 8ft will fit in nearly all rooms. that's what i've been aiming for anyway. other than that it doesn't matter what height your subs are etc.

The higher you get your tops the less you will take people's heads off up front !
Ofcourse with appropriate tilt and providing you have enough spl !

Will also minimise comb filtering in low mids that sets in the further you go back
Black to black , red to red , blue to bits ....

Approx 2.55m in height

It's a bit too tall for some venues occasionally. A modular setup would make that slightly better

I try to angle the mid tops down a little bit where possible

Nice rigs you lot :) im on the right track then. My current design stands just under 3m. The bottom of the mids are around 2m. with the kick section right in the face at 1.7m Approve with adjustable tilt comp horns.

it act had broke me after 8 years to let those mid top cabs go,:( but in 80% of venues i had to just put the mids on top of the scoops and have kick in the middle, i really did not like the sound of this so after lots of thought let them go , know we have a easier stacking function which fits 99.9% of rooms

nice :) i am designing mine so i can re-arrange and half the sub height and arrange them 4 side by side width ways instead of 2 on top of 2. that will lose nearly a meter for low ceilings.
