I'll still reckon our record was fitting me and Dave and enough gear to do a free party (speakers, amps & processing, decks, mixer, records and generator) in a Fiat Uno and getting it all from Nottingham to Brighton...

Back in the day we even used to design cabs based around the distance between the wheel arches of a Fiat Uno...

I used to get:
a double 18" sub,
2 full size X15's,
2 SX300 clones,
2 x 4U and 1 x 2U racks,
decks and mixer,
2 UV cannons,
a load of scans,
2 large wind up stands,
4 smaller stands
smoke machine (1200w so it wasn't small!)
decor,
bags of cammo netting

all in the back of an Escort estate.  And space for the missus in the front

I used to get:

2 x SX300 clones
2 x 1x15" bass bins
2 x 10"+1" monitors
1 x 9U rack containing mixer, CD player and some outboard
1 x 6U amp rack
1 x 2U amp rack
1 x 10m multi
Mic cables
Speaker cables
Power cables
Mic stands
Speaker poles
Mics

all in a Seat Ibiza (think VW Polo) - God knows how!! :)

Mudflaps were practically on the ground but it all went in - just! I drive a Peugeot Partner Combi now, so there's more space in that. For big gigs, I borrow a Sprinter off the people next door to us at work.
