with the bracing going down the middle of the ports does this split it into 2 ports or is it still classed as one?

It's still only one port. The tuning stays the same as the depth and cross-sectional area remain the same. (Well minus the extra brace, but hey...)

I was thinking about this the other day.
If instead of having little separae braces, what would happen if you cut on segment the full length of the port. In a scoop it would be quite a complex shape but it could be CNC'd. How would this effect the sound. Would it turn it into two smaller ports? Or would it still act like one big port as they will be identical getting driven from the same driver all in phase?
