	I remember Sound City 4x12s (open back) - 1971/2 - doing exchange student discos in North London. Can't even remember what we used to drive them.
	For sidefills, can we have two enormous things of a type that might be venerated as Gods by the inhabitants of Easter Island, capable of reaching volumes that would make Beelzebub soil his pants.

	Only time I ever used 4 x 12 columns was in the pub where I started DJing in 1977 and they were old and knackered even then. Think they were full of Fane POP 50s, but we had a pair of home made bins too and balanced a Goodmans Hifax 750 on top of one column and a Midax 650 on top of the other, neither of them in a cabinet. 	I had some of those infernal things, they kept blowing. If you study the suggested wiring configuration, you will see why, but I didn't realise at the time. They did keep replacing them though, until I just gave up. Postage got too expensive.

	^ Truly awful sounding things,they had a phenolic diaphragm,coupled to a crude alluminium horn,harsh as you like..."frequency range 1.4 -12Khz"...yeah right...doubt if much came out of it over 6khz to be honest.

	I should add i had a pair of those,one of the few horns where the piezos i replaced them with actually sounded better.

	I started off with four Wem 4x12"B"columns which used to fit perfectly in between the wheel arches of my Escort van with all of the other gear on top of them--then rapidly progressed to a twin wheel Transit.
